to recruit and support coaches delivering engaging after-school youth development programs using simple soccer-based games, movement and age-appropriate activities. The focus is on helping students build confidence, teamwork, communication and positive social skills while developing a love of movement and being active. This is not a traditional competitive soccer coaching position. We are looking for someone who is patient, encouraging, reliable and genuinely enjoys working with elementary-age children. Soccer experience is helpful, but we are especially interested in people with experience in education, childcare, camps, recreation, youth programs, mentoring, sports or coaching. What You'll Do Lead engaging soccer-based games, movement activities and youth development sessions for grades 1-5 Create a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment Encourage confidence, teamwork, communication and positive social interaction Adapt activities to different ages, abilities and group dynamics Provide positive, age-appropriate guidance and encouragement Keep students engaged, active and included Maintain a safe and well-organized activity environment Communicate professionally with school staff and program staff Arrive prepared and fulfill accepted coaching assignments reliably Curriculum, activity ideas, equipment and program support are provided. Do you have reliable personal transportation that you can use to travel to your accepted coaching assignments? Are you generally available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between approximately 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM, and/or Wednesday between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM?
