With multiple locations serving thousands of families and individuals, we focus on nurturing potential, promoting well-being, and fostering a spirit of giving back. We are seeking a passionate and energetic Outreach Counselor to join our team! In this vital role, you will engage with children through games, homework, crafts, sports, and provide snacks. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help us expand our reach and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children facing diverse challenges. Incumbent must be at least 16 years of age and have experience with children ages 3-12 with an understanding of emotionally and economically challenged families- Must have excellent communication skills with children and adults and provide supervision of volunteers and program participants
- Must be able to effectively handle conflict situations with participants and work independently
- Create a fun, friendly, and safe environment for participants
- Promote and be an advocate for the program in the Southington community
