The Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro South is hiring for Youth Resource Coordinator in our new Enos Ricciardi Family Clubhouse located in Taunton, MA! The Youth Resource Coordinator will assist in providing support and resources to youth, parents, and staff within Clubhouses & Camp settings. The Youth Resource Coordinator will focus on addressing the social, emotional, and psychological well-being of youth within the Club. This individual will work closely with the Youth Resource Director(s) and Executive Director(s) to implement programs and interventions designed to meet the needs of our members. The Youth Resource Coordinator will facilitate group sessions, provide one-on-one interventions, and help connect youth and families to external services as needed. Family engagement and direct service to youth are core responsibilities of this position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Provide direct services to youth, offering emotional, social, and behavioral support.
• Conduct one-on-one and small group interventions to meet the needs of youth, including addressing mental health and well-being.
• Collaborate with youth, families, caregivers, and Clubhouse staff to identify challenges and create connections to appropriate resources and services.
• Maintain accurate case management records and track the progress of youth, ensuring confidentiality and proper documentation.
• Work with the Youth Resource Director to implement prevention and intervention programs, activities, and strategies to improve youth outcomes.
• Assist in addressing behavioral and social challenges within the Clubhouse and provide support to staff and families as needed.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborative efforts to continuously improve programs and services for youth.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (such as social work, psychology, or youth development).
• Experience in youth development, family services, or related fields.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage youth from diverse backgrounds.
• Familiarity with local community resources and services.
• Technological proficiency, including a command of the Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with using a database to track and extract information.
• Exemplary communication skills (written and verbal) are needed, including the ability to present in front of large groups, interact with and motivate stakeholders, represent the organization at community events and meetings, and write professionally in emails, etc.
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people (staff, families, youth, etc.) and a track record of building and sustaining meaningful relationships with individuals and teams from all socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Commitment to professionalism including high expectations and standards of quality, a strong work ethic and personal code of ethics, accountability, and dependability.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to set effective objectives for teams and individuals and take ownership for results.
• Demonstrated commitment to the values of diversity, inclusiveness, and empowerment.
• Willing to provide leadership daily in a normal eight-hour day and occasional night and weekend hours. This position does not provide for remote work options.

Certifications:

As outlined in BGCMS Training Academy upon hire or within allocated training timelines.

• This position requires a valid driver's license and will require frequent local travel.
