Job Description

Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Youth Leader to inspire and guide young individuals within our community. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to foster positive development, provide mentorship, and create engaging programs that empower youth to reach their full potential. As a Youth Leader, you will play a vital role in nurturing the growth of children and teenagers through meaningful activities, spiritual support, and leadership initiatives. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help build a vibrant, supportive environment where young people feel valued, motivated, and inspired. Duties Develop and implement engaging youth programs that promote personal growth, leadership skills, and community involvement Provide mentorship and guidance to children and teenagers, fostering a safe and supportive space for open communication Coordinate and lead activities such as workshops, retreats, social events, and service projects aligned with the organization's mission Offer bereavement support and compassionate counseling to youth experiencing loss or difficult life circumstances Collaborate with parents, church budget director , and church staff to ensure holistic support for youth participants Facilitate discussions on faith-based topics, including Christian counseling principles, to nurture spiritual development Plan fundraising events to support youth programs and community outreach initiatives Maintain accurate records of attendance, participation, and progress for all youth activities Experience Prior experience working with children or teenagers in educational, religious, or social service settings Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire young people Excellent communication skills for effective mentoring and conflict resolution Experience in event planning and organizing group activities or retreats Background in social work or related fields demonstrating compassion and understanding of youth development needs Familiarity with Christian counseling practices is desirable but not mandatory Join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people! Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
