Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Youth Specialist to join our team on the Qualla Boundary and make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people. In this role, you will develop and implement engaging youth development programs, provide mentorship, and support adolescents in reaching their full potential. Your energetic approach will foster a positive environment where youth from diverse backgrounds feel valued, supported, and empowered to succeed. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with youth, families, and community partners to promote healthy development and resilience. Responsibilities Plan, organize, and facilitate youth programs that promote social-emotional growth, leadership skills, and positive behavioral interventions. Provide mentorship and guidance to youth, encouraging their personal development and academic success. Collaborate with families, schools, and community organizations to coordinate case management efforts and ensure comprehensive support for high-risk populations. Maintain accurate documentation of youth progress, incident reports, and program activities using an electronic health record. Engage with culturally diverse communities by respecting cultural differences and promoting inclusive programming that reflects community needs. Qualifications Experience working with adolescents or youth development programs in educational or community settings. Strong written communication skills for report writing, documentation, and client communication. Ability to work effectively with individuals from underserved communities and high-risk populations. Experience working with families, providing social work support, or managing conflict situations is a plus. Pay:
$36,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
