With a focus on family preservation, this position will utilize philosophy and skills acquired through Brief Strategic Family Therapy model training and passing competency panel.
Duties and Tasks Direct Service:
Provides family therapy services in compliance with the Brief Strategic Family Therapy model; Serves as advocate for services for families; makes recommendations related to individual treatment as needed.
Documentation and Record Keeping:
Completes documentation congruent with the BSFT model; when appropriate, will complete Title IV-E billing in the portal; DJS Time logs; timesheets for payroll.
Other duties:
Participate in consultation sessions, education, and training opportunities; participate in supervision and other agency related meetings; and all other duties as assigned. No on-call requirements. Ability to work remotely/home office. Flexible 40-hour work schedule. Some travel within the designated service area is required to meet the needs of families. Minimum Qualifications Master's Degree in mental health, social work, family-marriage area of counseling or related field OR Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of experience working with families may qualify.
