The Awake Overnight counselor works with youth at-risk ages 13-17 in a residential setting. Hours are 12:00AM - 8:00AM for Full Time and Part Time.
EOE Responsibilities include:
Ensuring safety of youth on the overnight shift Assisting with daily living skills and supportive counseling Transporting youth to and from school and medical appointments Completing associated documentation One week of PAID orientation is required prior to the start of your assignment and ongoing PAID training outside of normal work hours is required. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and six months to one year of experience working with youth. Programs are located in Union County. We provide you with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Full Time positions include an awesome benefits package! Responsibilities/ Qualifications Provides overnight supervision in a residential setting for youth Provides daily living skills, supportive counseling, and community integration for youth at-risk Transports members to medical appointments, recreation activities, etc. Helps ensure a safe, clean, organized, environment Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards Physically remains on the premises of assigned location for the duration of the shift, unless directed elsewhere by management or a supervisor Ensures that the site and equipment are maintained in a clean, sanitary, and safe condition High school diploma or GED 6 months to one year of professional experience working with youth ages 13-17 Highly organized and self-motivated Able to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays Excellent computer and Microsoft Office skills
