Duties Supervise children during after-school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Facilitate a variety of engaging activities including arts and crafts, sports, games, and educational lessons that promote childhood development and social skills Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive conduct and resolve conflicts effectively Maintain a safe environment by adhering to first aid protocols, CPR procedures, and AED operation standards in case of emergencies Support children with homework assistance, tutoring, or special education needs as required Coordinate outdoor activities and supervise children during outdoor play to promote physical activity and outdoor work experience Collaborate with team members to plan youth group activities and ensure smooth program operations Qualifications Prior experience working with children in educational, childcare, camp, or youth program settings is highly preferred Knowledge of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies Certification in first aid/CPR will be provided Experience with special education or childhood development enhances your ability to support diverse needs Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise children effectively and foster teamwork among peers Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members Ability to work outdoors and handle outdoor work conditions comfortably Background in theater experience or working with students can be an asset for facilitating creative activities Join us in creating a positive after-school experience that nurtures growth, inspires creativity, and builds lasting memories!
