In this role, you will be responsible for supervising children, facilitating fun and educational activities, and ensuring their well-being through attentive care and positive guidance. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster a supportive community where children can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Duties Supervise children during before-school and after-school hours, ensuring their safety at all times Lead engaging youth group activities, including arts and crafts, outdoor games, tutoring sessions, and team-building exercises Implement behavior management strategies to promote respectful and cooperative conduct among children Prepare and organize age-appropriate educational and recreational activities aligned with developmental best practices Maintain clear communication with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and daily experiences Follow first aid protocols diligently, administering basic first aid or CPR/AED as needed to ensure children's safety Support children with special education needs by adapting activities to accommodate individual requirements Skills Strong classroom management skills to maintain a positive and orderly environment Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, including camp experience or babysitting roles Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques Certified in First Aid, CPR, AED operation, with a clear understanding of emergency response procedures Ability to facilitate youth programs that promote social skills, teamwork, and personal growth Experience in outdoor work environments or outdoor activity facilitation is a plus Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members effectively Demonstrated leadership abilities in team settings or youth program facilitation Background in teaching young children or working with students in various educational contexts such as tutoring or theater experience Join us in making a positive impact on children's lives by providing a safe, fun-filled environment that encourages learning and growth.
