Working as a Youth Counselor at Adelphoi can provide you with the wage, the benefits, and the perfect schedule! We are looking for individuals who thrive in a competitive atmosphere and would benefit from working in our group homes and supervising the youth under our care.

No experience is required - just an ambitious attitude! We provide all the training you will need to excel as a Youth Counselor.

Compensation:

$20.25-$25.55 per hour depending on education

What Youll Do:

Supervise and mentor youth in a residential setting.

Maintain safety and order using approved crisisprevention and physical intervention techniques when necessary.

Participate in deescalation, restraint, and emergency response procedures as trained and required.

Work collaboratively with other staff to provide consistent structure and support.

Physical and Safety Requirements:

Because this role involves working with older and sometimes physically aggressive youth, candidates must be able to:

Safely perform physical interventions and restraints with individuals who may weigh 200+ pounds, using approved techniques.

Stand, walk, and respond quickly throughout the shift.

Successfully complete and maintain certification in Adelphois crisis intervention / restraint training and pass any required physical abilities assessment.
