Job Description

Sunny Path Counseling is a growing private practice with a focus on serving and supporting children, teens, young adults, and families from a creative perspective. We are currently seeking a fully licensed mental health therapist to provide individual, family, and group mental health services to children, adolescents, and families in an outpatient setting in our Johnson City and Bristol location. (Commission Split) 20-25 clients per week, any time or day of your choosing Free Play Therapy Supervision •Candidates that seem to be a good fit will be emailed screener questions before offered an interview. Pending a successful interview with the owner of the practice, eligible candidates will be offered a group interview. Option to work at our Bristol location, Johnson City location, or both offices. Job Description This role is for an outpatient, licensed mental health professional that holds a passion and experience serving children, young adults, and families in the counseling setting. This role also requires the individual be a team player, enthusiastic to learn and serve clients, and can also work independently. Responsibilities Delivery of mental health counseling services to children, teens, young adults, and families. Use Electronic Health Records System to schedule clients and complete progress notes. Maintain a professional appearance and attitude in all face-to-face interactions as well as on social media. Formulation and Implementation of Treatment Plans and Therapeutic Interventions of children, teens, and families and use of DSM5 while involving the client in the process. Complete progress notes within 48 hours of the client's session. Have an interest and receive play therapy training.
Requirements:
Knowledge and clinical experience with children, teens, and/or adults with mental health concerns (trauma, anxiety, transitional issues, parenting, depression, borderline personality disorder, etc.) Master's Degree in Professional Counseling or related field Licensed (or eligible within one year) in the state of Tennessee and from a CACREP Accredited Program (LPC/MHSP, LCSW, LMFT, etc.).
