Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Youth Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with children and a commitment to fostering their growth and development. As a Youth Leader, you will play a pivotal role in creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for youth participants. This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in daycare settings, camps, or educational programs and have experience in childcare or tutoring. Duties Develop and implement engaging activities that promote learning and personal growth among youth participants. Supervise and mentor children during various programs, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Foster positive relationships with participants by providing support, encouragement, and guidance. Collaborate with other staff members to plan events and activities that align with the organization's mission. Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play. Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding participant progress and any concerns. Utilize classroom management techniques to create an inclusive atmosphere for all participants. Provide first aid when necessary, ensuring the health and safety of all youth involved. Skills Experience working with children in daycare, camp, or educational settings. Strong background in tutoring or educating youth. Familiarity with theater activities is a plus for creative programming. Excellent classroom management skills to maintain order and engagement during activities. Certification in first aid is preferred to ensure safety protocols are followed. Ability to create an inclusive environment that encourages participation from all youth.
