The Youth Enrichment Specialist is responsible for maintaining a welcoming, organized, and secure environment while following all CWJC Youth Enrichment policies, child-safety procedures, and check-in/check-out requirements. Responsibilities Provide attentive and active supervision of children at all times. Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and welcoming environment. Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities, games, reading, crafts, and other enrichment opportunities. Follow all established child check-in and check-out procedures. Verify that children are released only to authorized parents or guardians. Review available information regarding allergies, medical concerns, emergency contacts, and other relevant child instructions. Foster a welcoming environment that promotes Christian principles and encourages personal growth and moral development. Participate in outdoor work experiences such as camping trips or field excursions to enhance experiential learning opportunities. Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age. High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous experience working with children is required. Ability to appropriately supervise children of varying ages. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain consistent attendance. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise appropriate judgment. Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team. Required Screening and Training Youth Enrichment Specialists must successfully complete and maintain all required CWJC screening and training. Criminal background screening. Child abuse and neglect prevention and mandatory-reporting training. CPR and First Aid certification. CWJC Youth Enrichment orientation and policy training. Emergency and safety procedures. Any additional training required by CWJC.

Pay:

$16.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 20.0 per week
