Schedule:
Flexible; may include evenings, weekends, some holidays Stepping Stones Community Services, LLC is seeking compassionate and dependable Youth Mentors to provide one-on-one and group mentoring services to youth in home, school, office, and community settings. Youth Mentors serve as positive role models by helping youth build confidence, develop life skills, improve decision-making, and achieve personal goals. Essential Responsibilities Build positive mentoring relationships with assigned youth. Conduct individual and group mentoring sessions. Teach life skills, communication, emotional regulation, conflict resolution, and goal setting. Encourage positive behaviors, academic success, and community involvement. Maintain professional communication with families, case managers, and agency staff. Complete accurate documentation within agency deadlines. Report safety concerns and maintain confidentiality. Attend required meetings and trainings. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Education, Criminal Justice, or a related field preferred. Experience working with youth or families preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance. Ability to pass required background checks. Schedule Flexible scheduling, including afternoon, evening, and occasional weekend hours based on client needs. Work Locations Services are provided in homes, schools, community locations, and Stepping Stones offices throughout Milwaukee and surrounding counties.
