Job Description

Category Schools - Social Worker Job Type Contract Make an impact in the lives of students and their families by providing essential support services in a dynamic educational setting. This full-time contracted opportunity is ideal for an LCSW with a passion for working within schools, particularly someone who is already credentialed and ready to start making a difference. You will play a key role in fostering a positive school environment, helping students overcome challenges, and collaborating with staff to provide comprehensive support.
Key Qualifications:
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential required Experience working in a school setting preferred Strong understanding of child and adolescent development Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism Passion for helping children and families navigate social, emotional, and academic challenges
Responsibilities:
Provide direct counseling services to students individually and in groups Assess student needs and develop intervention plans Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure student well-being Serve as an advocate for students, helping them access resources Conduct crisis intervention, as needed Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and district policies Participate in multidisciplinary teams to create supportive educational plans This position offers the chance to work full-time during the 2026-2027 school year within a collaborative school community.
