17:30•18:30We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sous Chef to join our catering team at Hamworthy Barracks, supporting the delivery of high-quality, nutritious meals for up to 100 military personnel within the Junior Ranks dining facility.

This is a great opportunity to work within a structured Defence environment, leading a small, close-knit kitchen team of 5.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchenPrepare, cook, and serve high-quality meals across all servicesSupervise and support a team of 5 kitchen staff, ensuring consistency and standardsMaintain excellent food hygiene, health & safety, and cleanliness practicesAssist with menu planning, stock control, ordering, and allergen managementEnsure smooth and efficient service delivery during all meal periodsContribute to a positive team environment and uphold Defence catering standardsAbout YouProven experience as a Sous Chef or strong Senior Chef de PartieExperience in high-volume or contract catering environments desirableRelevant culinary qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent) preferredStrong leadership, communication, and organisational skillsPassion for delivering quality, nutritious mealsFlexible, reliable, and comfortable working early and late shiftsWe ensure you\'re rewarded for all your hard work, which is why we offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes but is not limited to:
