Overview Join our dynamic culinary team as a second Sous Chef, where your passion for food and leadership will elevate our kitchen operations to new heights! In this vital role, you will assist the Executive Chef from france in overseeing daily kitchen activities, ensuring exceptional food quality, and maintaining a vibrant, efficient work environment. Your expertise in fine dining, food production, and team management will inspire excellence and deliver memorable dining experiences for our guests. Duties Assist in supervising all kitchen operations, ensuring adherence to food safety standards and sanitation regulations. Lead food preparation and cooking processes to uphold high-quality presentation and flavor profiles. Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs. Oversee dietary department procedures, accommodating special dietary needs with precision and care. Coordinate with catering and banquet teams to execute large-scale events seamlessly. Support shift management by delegating tasks, monitoring staff performance, and maintaining a positive team atmosphere. Ensure consistent menu execution while contributing to menu planning and new dish development. Experience Proven supervisory experience within a fast-paced kitchen environment, preferably in fine dining or hospitality settings. Extensive culinary experience with strong skills in food handling, food production, and cooking techniques. Familiarity with restaurant management practices including inventory management, shift management, and food service operations. Background in banquet service, catering, or large-scale event food preparation is highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety protocols, dietary accommodations, and hospitality standards. Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on team management and staff development. Prior experience in the food industry with a solid understanding of restaurant or hospitality operations is essential.
