In this full-time, school-based contract role, you'll work closely with students who benefit from individualized support, making a direct impact on their growth and achievement throughout the 2026-2027 school year. Bring your expertise to provide targeted instruction in reading, math, and other essential subjects, utilizing both push-in and pull-out instructional models. You'll develop tailored strategies aligned with each student's Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and empower them to reach their academic milestones in a supportive, inclusive environment. What you'll do: Deliver focused resource support across core academic areas, adapting lessons to address diverse learning needs Build and implement instruction addressing IEP goals, fostering progress and engagement Collaborate with general education teachers to promote inclusion through co-teaching and consultative strategies Track and report on student performance, maintaining all necessary documentation Participate actively in IEP meetings and ensure compliance with special education laws and standards Foster strong partnerships with students, families, and fellow educators to support holistic development What we're looking for: Current South Carolina Special Education teaching certification or eligibility Background in resource or inclusion classroom environments preferred Effective communication and collaborative skills Ability to proactively support academic and behavioral growth among middle school students Step into a meaningful contract role where your commitment, expertise, and compassion will make a difference every day.
