Send job Job Details Job DescriptionJob Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful impact as a Special Education Resource Teacher supporting middle school students for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time school-based contract role offers the chance to deliver targeted instruction and academic support to students with unique learning needs in a collaborative and positive environment.
Key Qualifications:
Valid South Carolina Special Education certification, or eligibility to obtain Prior experience in a resource or inclusion setting is preferred Demonstrated skills in collaboration, adaptability, and communication Strong background in providing both academic and behavioral support to middle school students Commitment to fostering inclusive learning experiences
Responsibilities:
Provide academic resource support in reading, math, and other core subjects through push-in and pull-out services Develop, implement, and monitor individualized instruction aligned with each student's IEP goals Collaborate with general education teachers, special education team members, and support staff to ensure students' success Participate actively in IEP meetings, contribute to compliance documentation, and communicate progress clearly Support the integration of students in general education settings by co-teaching, consulting, and modeling effective strategies Maintain accurate records of student progress and regularly assess outcomes to inform instruction This is a dynamic opportunity to work closely with a supportive and dedicated school team while helping students achieve their best academic and personal outcomes.
