Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Current Openings:
Resource Teacher:
Guide a caseload of 15 elementary students, providing targeted interventions and support within inclusive education settings. Self-Contained Teacher (Two Positions): Lead a classroom of 8 elementary students, fostering a nurturing and structured environment tailored to individualized learning plans.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid Special Education teaching certification (or eligibility) for elementary level. Experience working with students with a variety of learning challenges. Strong understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and individualized instruction. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, families, and support staff. Compassion, patience, and a commitment to equitable education for all learners.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver individualized lesson plans that align with IEP goals. Assess student progress, adjusting instruction and strategies as needed for student growth. Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families to ensure the best outcomes for students. Maintain accurate documentation, including IEPs, progress reports, and classroom records. Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment where every student is supported and encouraged.
