Send job Job Details Job DescriptionJob Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Bring your expertise to a supportive educational environment, helping middle school students thrive! This full-time contract assignment as a Special Education Teacher starts in August and extends through the end of the school year, giving you the opportunity to make a lasting impact. You'll work with approximately 12 middle school students, utilizing both push-in and pull-out instructional models. The assignment includes paid training at the start, so you'll be well-equipped and welcomed onto the team. What you'll do: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs Support students in inclusive (push-in) and small group (pull-out) settings Foster a positive, productive classroom atmosphere Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families Utilize a variety of instructional techniques to engage and motivate students Effectively manage classroom and maintain records in compliance with regulations Assess student progress and adjust strategies for optimal outcomes Attend staff meetings, professional development, and parent conferences as scheduled What we're looking for: Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's preferred) Active Special Education certification/endorsement Previous experience working with middle school or similar age students Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to implement push-in and pull-out service models Passion for advocating for students with diverse needs This assignment offers a consistent and rewarding school-year schedule, with paid training to ensure a strong start.
