A contract position is open for two in-person educators with a passion for supporting students with exceptional needs. This role takes place within a collaborative and resourceful school setting, running from August 28, 2026, through June 18, 2027. Each educator will work a 37.5-hour week, with the specific caseloads determined after internal assignments have been finalized; all variations and details will be discussed further in the interview process.

Qualifications and Credentials:

Valid Special Education Teacher certification, meeting all current state requirements Demonstrated experience working as a Special Education Teacher in school settings Comfortable and enthusiastic about in-person teaching and supporting students face-to-face Adaptability to different caseloads and student needs Strong communication skills for collaboration with staff and engagement with families

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs Provide direct instruction, interventions, and educational support in accordance with best practices Foster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning, growth, and confidence Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive student support Track progress, complete required reporting, and adjust strategies as necessary
