Key Qualifications:
Valid state credentials required for Special Education teaching-no exceptions. Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher in a school environment strongly preferred. Comfort working in-person, partnering with on-site teams and students. Adaptable, with the ability to manage varied caseloads and evolving student needs. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized instruction and differentiated support tailored to students' unique learning needs. Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in partnership with parents and multidisciplinary teams. Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and progress. Maintain thorough documentation, progress reports, and compliance with all state and federal special education requirements. Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and administration on a daily basis. Responsively adjust interventions based on student data and ongoing assessment.

Schedule:
In-person, 37.5 hours per week, from late August 2026 through mid-June 2027. Caseload assignment and specifics to be discussed further as school needs are finalized.
