Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a meaningful contract role supporting students who benefit from specialized instructional services. This opportunity, located in the picturesque region near Soldiers Grove, WI, spans the academic year from August 24th, 2026, to June 2nd, 2027, with a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week. You'll work with a manageable caseload of 10-16 students, providing both push-in and pullout academic, behavioral, and social-emotional learning (SEL) instruction tailored to individual needs.
Qualifications:
Valid Special Education teaching certification Experience supporting diverse learners in resource, inclusion, or self-contained settings Familiarity with push-in and pullout instructional models Strong understanding of academic, behavioral, and SEL strategies Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff, administrators, and families Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with general education staff to implement accommodations and modifications for students with special needs Lead direct instruction in both academic and behavioral content, based on IEP goals Deliver SEL programming within push-in and pullout service models Monitor, document, and report student progress toward established objectives Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and ongoing professional development Cultivate strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues to support holistic student success You'll thrive surrounded by natural beauty, collaborative educators, and students eager to grow.
