Job Description

Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Make a lasting difference in the lives of students by bringing your special education expertise to a supportive, vibrant educational setting. Multiple full-time contract opportunities are available working with students across elementary, middle, and high school levels in self-contained classrooms. These roles are uniquely tailored to serve students with autism or those who have experienced trauma, ensuring you can make a real impact where it matters most.
Opportunities include:
Elementary:
Lead a K-5 self-contained Autism classroom with up to 6 students, providing individualized support and creative interventions.
Middle School:
Guide a therapeutic classroom for grades 6-8, serving up to 10 students. Experience supporting children affected by trauma is essential, as you help them build resilience and social-emotional skills.
High School:
Support a therapeutic classroom setting for grades 9-12, with a caseload of up to 12 students. Your background in trauma-informed care will allow you to foster growth and positive outcomes for these learners. What you'll bring: Valid credentials in Special Education Demonstrated experience supporting students with autism and/or backgrounds in trauma Strong communication and collaboration skills within school settings Creative problem-solving abilities and patience in adapting to student needs Dedication to maintaining a supportive and structured environment for diverse learners Your impact: Deliver individualized instruction and behavioral support within a self-contained classroom Develop and implement effective strategies to build academic, social, and emotional skills Collaborate with related service providers, families, and school teams to ensure student success If you're passionate about making a meaningful difference and thrive in a role where every day brings new opportunities, take the next step in your career. to help shape brighter futures for students who need encouragement, understanding, and expertise!
