Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting K-12 students for a full academic year! This contract role focuses on delivering speech and language services within an engaging school setting near scenic Harrison, ME. Your expertise will help students overcome communication barriers, empowering their educational journey and growth.
Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) State licensure (or eligibility) as required for school-based practice Previous experience working with K-12 populations strongly preferred Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students across all grade levels Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in both group and one-on-one settings Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute expertise to interdisciplinary teams Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements Foster positive, supportive relationships with students, teachers, and families, promoting student success
