Summer Camp Tennis Coach

Position Overview As our Tennis Coach, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to campers of various ages and skill levels. You'll balance technical skill-building with high-energy games to ensure every camper walks away with improved footwork, a better swing, and a smile.

Key Responsibilities On-Court Instruction:

Lead daily drills, private lessons, and group clinics focusing on fundamentals (grip, swing, serves) and match strategy.

Program Planning:

Develop creative lesson plans that keep campers engaged, regardless of whether they are a beginner or a competitive player.

Safety & Supervision:

Maintain a safe environment on the courts and manage equipment (ball machines, hoppers, nets, courts).

Mentorship:

Act as a positive role model, encouraging sportsmanship, teamwork, and a "growth mindset" among participants.

What We're Looking For Tennis Expertise:

Strong playing background (High School/Collegiate level or equivalent) and a deep understanding of the game.

Coaching Experience:

Previous experience teaching youth sports or tennis clinics is highly preferred.

Communication:

Ability to explain complex movements in simple, "kid-friendly" terms.

Energy:

A "can-do" attitude and the ability to stay enthusiastic even in the afternoon heat!
