Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by delivering crucial speech and language services in a school-based environment. This full-time contract position for a Speech Language Pathologist offers the opportunity to collaborate with a supportive education team while working with K-12 students across a diverse caseload. Your expertise will be essential in helping young learners unlock their communication potential and thrive academically.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association preferred Must possess a G License from the NC Department of Public Instruction Eligibility for or possession of a license from the Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists is a plus Previous experience in a K-12 school setting is beneficial Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and develop intervention plans for students with speech and language disorders across all grade levels Administer screenings, comprehensive evaluations, and participate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Deliver therapy sessions individually or in small groups to address student needs Provide expert consultation and advise teachers, parents, and staff on strategies to support student progress Maintain compliance with all reporting and documentation requirements Participate in school meetings, planning activities, and professional development
