Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful impact in education by providing speech-language pathology services to students for the upcoming school year. This full-time contract opportunity is ideal for travel professionals ready to experience Alaska while collaborating with a dedicated educational team. Serving multiple school sites, you'll foster communication growth and help shape students' success in both academic and social settings.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Valid or eligible for Alaska state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Previous experience working in school-based or pediatric settings is strongly valued Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Open to travel professionals seeking adventure and professional growthKey Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students with diverse needs Develop and deliver individualized therapy plans to support students' speech and language goals Collaborate with educators and families to develop meaningful, achievable IEP goals Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and consult with staff to support student learning Maintain accurate records of progress and document services provided in compliance with school and regulatory standards Advocate for students' communication needs and provide resources or training as neededBenefits & Perks:
