Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year. This full-time contract opportunity is perfect for a passionate SLP who thrives in a collaborative, student-centered environment. The assignment runs from mid-August through late November, working with K-4th grade students to help unlock their communication potential. You will have the chance to make a real impact by providing valuable speech-language interventions and collaborating with educators and families. Key Qualifications:
Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Michigan (required) CCC-SLP certification Experience working in a school-based setting preferred Not accepting Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates for this opportunity Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
What You'll Do:
Conduct assessments and provide direct therapy services to a diverse caseload of K-4th grade students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student progress Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a positive school culture This role offers valuable experience in a supportive school community and the satisfaction of helping students reach their full academic and personal potential.
