Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract For the upcoming 26/27 school year, we are seeking nine enthusiastic, full-time Speech-Language Pathologists to help support students across a range of age groups. This contract role offers the chance to collaborate with educational teams and impact student growth from the beginning to the end of the school year. SLPs with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) as well as Clinical Fellows (CFY) are welcome to apply. You'll have the opportunity to work 37.5 hours per week with the option to focus on your preferred age group. Work environments are dynamic, supportive, and committed to fostering communication skills in children and young adults.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current or eligible State of Michigan SLP license (or ability to obtain) Valid SLP-CCC or CFY status Previous experience in school settings preferred Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills Passion for helping students achieve their communication goals Responsibilities include: Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders Developing and implementing IEPs for students in collaboration with school staff and families Providing therapy services through individual and group settings aligned with students' needs Maintaining detailed session notes, progress reports, and compliance documentation Participating in school multidisciplinary teams and IEP meetings Offering consultation, resources, and support to teachers and families This full-time, school-based position begins with the academic year and runs through its conclusion.
