Job Description
Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact working with elementary and middle school students as a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time contract opportunity offers a dynamic caseload of 55 students, providing essential speech and language support within an engaging educational setting. Work 37.5 hours per week collaborating alongside experienced SLPs and multidisciplinary teams to help students reach their communication goals. Interviews are being scheduled promptly for the upcoming academic year, starting August 2026 and running through June 2027.
Qualifications:
Bilingual proficiency (Spanish/English strongly preferred) Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant licensure in California Prior school-based or healthcare SLPA experience Experience working with elementary or middle school populations Strong interpersonal and organizational skills No Clinical Fellow (CF) applicants will be considered at this timeResponsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language intervention services under the supervision of a licensed SLP Support students in developing speech, language, and communication skills in classroom and pull-out settings Assist in the implementation of IEP goals and documentation requirements Maintain accurate records and communicate progress to supervising SLP and staff Foster a supportive and positive environment for diverse learners Enjoy working a predictable school schedule and collaborating with a team dedicated to student success.
