Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Exciting contract opportunities are available for Speech-Language Pathologists seeking to make an impact in an elementary school setting for the 2026-2027 school year. Two full-time positions are offered, providing vital services to a diverse student population in a supportive academic environment. These roles run from August 19, 2026, through June 11, 2027, with a schedule of 7:45 am to 3:45 pm, Monday through Friday. Candidates will deliver therapy and speech-language interventions, supporting students across both resource (RSP) and special day class (SDC) programs, as well as a dedicated elementary site. The positions offer an excellent opportunity to build meaningful relationships with students and collaborate with dedicated educational teams.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program Active state licensure (or eligibility by start date) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFs also considered Prior experience in school-based settings, ideally with RSP and SDC caseloads Strong communication and organizational skills Passion for working with diverse elementary-aged students
Key Responsibilities:
Assess students to determine needs for speech and language support Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide direct therapy services, both individual and group Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to foster student progress Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and legal guidelines Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive school culture With two openings available, colleagues will find both peer support and autonomy.
