Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students' communication and language development in a collaborative educational setting near Morganton, NC. Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Current North Carolina state licensure as an SLP (or eligible) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows considered Experience delivering speech and language therapy in school settings highly desired Proficiency in evaluating, diagnosing, and implementing individualized treatment plans Ability to engage with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress Strong organizational and documentation skills Excellent interpersonal communication and adaptabilityKey Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for K-12 students Develop and tailor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in partnership with multidisciplinary teams Provide direct, evidence-based therapy to support students' varying needs Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed Partner with educators and families to implement carryover strategies in and out of the classroom Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences, offering expert recommendations and insights Maintain thorough documentation, ensuring compliance with school and regulatory requirements Foster a supportive, inclusive, and safe environment that empowers students to succeed Experience a meaningful assignment where your expertise uplifts students each day.
