Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a real impact supporting students across a district, working as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026-2027 school year. This rewarding opportunity takes place within a diverse K-12 environment, providing services to students from August 18, 2026, through May 27, 2027, at 35 hours per week. Your expertise will help students reach their communication goals and thrive within the educational setting.
Desired Qualifications:
Active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist Certification Valid PA Teaching Certificate (must be submitted with your resume) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Previous experience in a K-12 educational setting is strongly preferred Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Strong written and verbal communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments district-wide in K-12 schools Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's goals Deliver direct therapy sessions onsite (no virtual work at this time) Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure supportive learning environments Document student progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings and team discussions Enjoy the benefits of a contract role that allows you to grow professionally, support a vibrant learning community, and experience varied caseloads and environments within one supportive district.
