In this energetic role, you will be responsible for applying spray foam insulation to various structures, ensuring energy efficiency, durability, and quality standards are met. Your mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and hands-on skills will drive successful project outcomes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing your expertise in spray foam application and related trades to deliver top-tier results. Duties Prepare surfaces and structures by cleaning, masking, and setting up equipment to ensure optimal spray foam application. Operate spray foam equipment safely and efficiently, including airless paint sprayers and other power tools. Apply spray foam insulation accurately according to blueprints, schematics, and project specifications. Conduct quality checks during and after application to verify proper coverage, thickness, and adhesion. Assist with site setup and cleanup, including handling hand tools, caulking guns, and fabrication tools. Collaborate with project managers, carpenters, roofers, and other trades to coordinate tasks seamlessly. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, materials used, and safety procedures followed. Experience Prior experience in construction estimating or working on construction sites is highly desirable. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and safety equipment required for construction environments. Familiarity with construction trades such as carpentry (trim carpentry), roofing, framing (frame carpentry), drywall (plastering), and construction painting enhances your versatility. Experience with airless paint spraying or similar coating techniques is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites to ensure a secure work environment.
