Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract Join a healthcare team at a well-established 400-bed hospital seeking two dedicated pharmacists to support its pharmacy operations. This contract opportunity offers a chance to apply your skills in a dynamic hospital environment equipped with advanced technology systems, including EPIC and Pyxis, ensuring efficient medication management and patient care.

Joplin, MO Schedule:
Variable days and afternoons Four 10-hour shifts per weekResponsibilities:
Verify medication orders with accuracy and attention to detail Supervise and collaborate with pharmacy technicians to maintain smooth workflow Provide expert consultation to nurses and physicians regarding medication therapy Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives within the pharmacy departmentQualifications:
Licensed pharmacist with current credentials to practice in Missouri Experience in hospital pharmacy settings preferred Familiarity with EPIC and Pyxis systems highly advantageous Strong communication skills to effectively interact with healthcare professionals Ability to work variable shifts including afternoons within a structured schedule This role is a great fit for pharmacists seeking to contribute to patient care in a supportive, tech-enabled hospital environment.
