Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract To Hire This opportunity is for a travel pharmacist to provide inpatient pharmacy services at a community hospital located near Ridgecrest, CA. The facility is approximately a few hours from the Los Angeles area, offering a quiet, smaller hospital environment with around 80 beds. This position offers a contract-to-hire arrangement.

Work Schedule:

Four 10-hour shifts per week Variable days and afternoons, with potential to switch to a 7 days on, 7 days off day-shift schedule

Responsibilities:

Perform inpatient pharmacy staffing duties, ensuring accurate dispensing and medication management Collaborate with healthcare teams to support patient care within the hospital setting Potential to assist with on-call responsibilities on days worked

Qualifications:

Valid California pharmacist license Recent inpatient pharmacy experience, ideally within a hospital setting Familiarity with Paragon pharmacy IT system is preferred but not mandatory This role suits a pharmacist comfortable handling the dynamic needs of inpatient care, with flexibility in schedule and the ability to integrate into a smaller community hospital team. Experience with hospital pharmacy systems and inpatient protocols will be valuable.
