The Cedarville University School of Arts and Humanities is accepting applications for an Administrative Assistant who is equipped with effective problem solving and supervisory skills to aid the Dean of the School. This benefits-eligible, non-exempt staff position offers a full-time schedule of 1560 hours with flexibility, primarily during the summer months. The School of Arts and Humanities Administrative Assistant serves as a liaison with the chairs, faculty, and students within the School of Arts & Humanities, as well as other offices on campus (Event Services, Marketing, Public Relations). Time management and flexibility are essential for this support role. Primary functions of this role include creating, maintaining, and finalizing faculty evaluation, hiring, and program review documentation; managing correspondence, preparing meeting minutes, collaborating with campus partners to plan and execute events; coordinating travel arrangements, itineraries, and meetings; monitoring and updating the School of Arts and Humanities website, collecting and analyzing relevant data, assisting with budgetary oversight and conducting budgetary transactions, conducting research, overseeing and managing student employees, ordering office supplies, and assisting with other duties as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
College degree preferred Previous administrative assistant experience preferred Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and campus email Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to manage confidential information professionally Qualified applicant must be a born-again Christian with a personal commitment to Jesus Christ.
