Job Summary:

The Cashier will use cash registers, electronic scanners, and related equipment to engage with customers. Assist customers with questions and product suggestions. This position is for evenings and weekend work. Cashier's are

REQUIRED

to work a weekend schedule.

None Duties/Responsibilities:

THIS PERSON'S MAIN SCHEDULE WILL START AT 2 PM OR 4 PM AND GO TO 7 PM OR 9

15 PM

DURING THE WEEK OR THE FINAL CLOSE OF THE STORE. AND ANYTIME BETWEEN 6

15 AM & 9:15 PM

OR THE FINAL CLOSE OF THE STORE ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY.

Use friendly customer service skills to assist customers with store and lottery purchases. Accurately use register, giving chain, direction and assistance (paid training provided) Offer and provide customers with promotional materials during each transaction. Assist customers with questions and direct them to the appropriate person Assist customers with full-service fueling (must be 16 years of age), tire pressure, oil level, and windshield cleaning as requested. (training provided) Cleans store following guidelines supplied during training. Stock shelves with products, checks in, and prices orders. Maintain organized stock on shelves. Attend employee meetings. Performs other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent customer service skills. Great verbal communication Pays attention to detail. Pleasant and positive attitude - Team Player Time management, flexibility, and punctuality Ability to learn how to operate available equipment, such as cash registers, calculators, or scanners. (Paid training provided) Basic mathematical skills Ability to recognize US currency and make accurate change to the customer.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods standing and working on the cash register or related equipment. Must be able to lift to 20 pounds at times with or without assistance. Ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods. We provide our employees discounts on auto parts and services on their car.
