Job Description:
The Store Manager schedule is typically Monday
  • Friday with weekend assistance when needed. Storefront hours are Monday
  • Friday 8am
  • 7pm, Saturdays 8am
  • 6pm & Sundays 10am
  • 4pm.
The Store Manager is responsible for managing the staff, assuring that the store is running efficiently and coordinating with departments across our other bakery locations. In addition, the Store Manager is responsible for driving sales metrics, marketing, hiring, scheduling, team member and/or guest issues with a focus on customer retention. Teamwork and exceeding guest expectations are top priorities at the store.

Maintain the safety and security of the store and the team Create and maintain a positive work environment Supervise store departments
  • frosting and guest service representatives to ensure product and service is meeting or exceeding NbC standards Work between departments to make sure everything is running smooth and that customers wait time is meeting or exceeding standards Assist in hiring and on-boarding new employees Open/close store
  • key holder Reconcile cash drawers and daily reports Banking deposits and stocking cash drawers with change Assist with daily and monthly inventory Assist with holiday management: managing BOH/FOH for peak/holiday times to ensure enough is baked, crafted & prep-work is completed.
Also managing BOH/FOH (i.e. Frosting Dept.) week before and holiday week to ensure everything is prepped & completed. Ensure bakery is clean and organized for both FOH/BOH Be involved in resolving customer needs and/or complaints Including Credit process, voids, refunds, emailing receipts, etc. Evaluate performance and accountability of team Metrics on GEM, sales, emails, tickets, brand standards etc. Ensure all same-day and next-day orders are complete and completed accurately (this includes crafting orders)
  • this includes fulfilling a shift position in FOH/BOH if needed Assist in additional tasks listed but not limited to: marketing, events, deliveries, donations and weddings 42 hours per week (holiday weeks may require extended hours)
  • Must be flexible in scheduling and adhere to blackout dates Our stores operate 7 days a week
Requirements:
High School graduate or equivalent 2 + years of supervisory or people management experience 2 + years of customer service experience Microsoft Word/Excel experience preferred Serve Safe Certification required
  • must be valid Valid driver's license Able to lift 50 lbs.
