WORKING FOR ANDY'S PRODUCE MARKET

The Store Manager is empowered to maintain the day-to-day operations of our retail store by: Taking ownership of directives from the Executive Team while working in tandem with subordinate department leaders Providing procedural and operational oversight across all of our departments, troubleshooting effective resolutions where necessary and efficiently implementing improvement protocols Proactively responding to customer shopping experiences, both positive and negative, while acting with authority and diplomacy Maintaining a positive store experience by anticipating and reacting to business needs as they evolve while consistently achieving a clean, organized, and well supplied store environment Diligently monitoring, adjusting, and being knowledgeable about pricing, profitability, and financial performance Collaborating with subordinate staff on buying and purchasing to maintain our standard of inventory and maintaining a focus on merchandising and visual storytelling through displays and promotions Provide upstanding customer service externally to our customers and vendors and internally to all levels of Andy's Produce Market team members across all of our departments As a core member of our Leadership Team, the Store Manager will also: Positively enforce our company expectations through active coaching, training, and accountability Regularly conduct staff meetings in small and large group settings Redirect team member energy into appropriate and productive actions Effectively communicate with all levels of staff to foster an environment of learning, flexibility, and respect Lead by example and inspire a growth mindset within the team

WHAT YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE

This position is ideal for someone with: A minimum of 5 years in a leadership driven role, preferably for a company of 50 or more employees, with a focus on team building and operational support A Bachelor's degree in any concentration OR High School Diploma with additional years of experience in a leadership driven role Familiarity with retail operations and procedures, the most ideal candidate will have experience in the grocery industry Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and all levels of staff both verbally and in writing An analytical mindset who can gather and interpret information efficiently with accountability and ownership of defensible decision making The diplomacy to conduct themselves with professionalism and in the best interest of the company's values and mission Experience using Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace Availability to work a full-time variable retail schedule; this position has the flexibility to manage their own working hours but a presence on some weekends, evenings, and holidays is expected. Typical operational hours occur between 4:00am - 8:30pm. Our retail hours are 8:00am - 8:00pm daily. The most qualified candidate will have: Experience acting as a strategic change agent capable of building relationships, implementing new initiatives, and maintaining accountability during periods of transition and growth The professional tenacity to address challenges with critical thinking, sound judgement, and a collaborative people-centered approach focused on actionable solutions A thorough understanding of contemporary work-place trends, technologies, and ideologies that support modern business practices and cultures; and the willingness to stay well-informed about evolving innovations and industry best practices
