Overview:

We are seeking a highly strategic sourcing professional to partner closely with engineering and operations teams to drive supplier strategy, cost optimization, and supply chain scalability for complex new product development programs. This is a high-impact role where you will influence sourcing decisions early in the design cycle, develop strong global supplier partnerships, and help bring innovative products to market.

Job Duties:

Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for New Product Development (NPD/NPI) programs Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Project Management teams Influence design-for-manufacturability, cost reduction, and supplier selection strategies Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers for precision components, materials, and manufacturing processes Negotiate supplier agreements balancing quality, innovation, delivery, and cost Drive total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis and lifecycle cost management Support supplier qualification, performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives Develop scalable sourcing strategies while mitigating supply chain risk Serve as a key escalation point for supplier and procurement-related challenges

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field 10+ years of strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain experience within: Medical Device Life Sciences Automation Precision Manufacturing Complex Engineered Products Strong experience supporting New Product Development (NPD/NPI) environments Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, supplier qualification, and technical sourcing Proven negotiation and supplier relationship management skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment Experience with ERP systems and strong Excel skills APICS (CPIM/CSCP) or CPSM certifications preferred Experience with global sourcing strongly preferred Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
