Job Description:

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Use and interpret drawings, inspection manuals and specifications, shop mathematics, precision measuring instruments, specialized inspection machines, tools, and equipment necessary to accomplish work assignments. experience working with Quality Management System Policies and Procedures. Utilize working knowledge of Company Policies, Procedures, and Specifications. overall working knowledge of production processes. Maintain certifications as required. Inspection (shop) procedures to accept or reject processes/parts/assemblies. Verify that tools are qualified. Prepare and maintain Quality records. Work across equivalent or lower-level Inspector job codes as required.

Skills & Knowledge:

Good communication skills, written and verbal. Good computing skills. Blueprint reading experience. MS Office and SAP experience. Experience writing NCRs (Tags).

Qualifications Required:

5 years experience in aerospace airframe assembly inspection. Ability to obtain all required training certifications and maintain certifications while on assignment. Must be available to work any shift - 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift operations. Available for periods of heavy overtime. Prompt and on time daily.

Preferred:

SAP experience.
