Department Industrial Technology Position Type Student Salary $10.00 per hour Open Date 11/14/2025 Close Date Open Until Filled No Position Summary Information Job Description Summary The purpose of this position is to provide assistance to welding instructors. Minimum Qualifications Current Del Mar College student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours while employed. Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Knowledgeable in lay out, fabrication, basic welding and shop safety. Able to operate a track torch and pipe beveling machine. Able to set up, trouble shoot and operate welding equipment. Know proper lifting techniques and able to lift up to 50 lbs. Preferred Qualifications Special Instructions to Applicants This is a security-sensitive position.
