GENERAL SUMMARY
The Pediatric Administrative Division is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Student Administrative Assistant to support daily administrative functions and assist with special projects. This position provides hands-on experience in a professional healthcare setting, offering an opportunity to develop skills in office administration, data management, and project coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with general administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and document preparation. Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff. Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes as needed. Maintain and organize digital and physical records in accordance with department policies. Support special projects, such as compiling reports, conducting research, and assisting with event planning. Coordinate with various departments to facilitate communication and streamline workflow. Perform other duties as assigned to support the administrative team.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Currently enrolled in a college or university program. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Prior administrative or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
