As well as working with awesome people within the organisation, you'll find many opportunities to develop and progress your career with us About the role | Ko te mahi nei In order for us to respond to the challenges created by the commercial and residential development including subdivision happening right now and the activity projected for our city for years to come, our Resource Consent Unit has an opportunity for a Subdivision Engineer

Your work will be varied and challenging, and will expose you to a wide and unique range of subdivision, geotechnical and natural hazard engineering issues.
You will:
Project manage the civil engineering process in the vesting of infrastructure assets through subdivision Ensure that vested infrastructure meets the requirements of the Infrastructure Design Standards and Council's Construction Specifications, and also meets the economic and environmental expectations of the community Provide specialist advice, expertise, judgement, and assessment for engineering conditions on subdivision consents and earthworks and geotechnical aspects of land-use consents, Provide effective decision making to ensure appropriate quality assurance is met for subdivision works constructed on private land.
