Sulzer Technician

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for keeping warps running on a continuous basis through maintenance and overhauling of all looms. Responsible for repairing and maintaining all mechanical operations of sulzer machines; make necessary adjustments and settings to assure proper operation and maximum efficiency.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Responsible for repairing looms on warps and replacing them when they run out. Weave pattern changes, pick gear changes. Records all necessary information on tickets. Ensure the sulzer machines run properly to assure first-quality material. Keep all relative parts, chain rack pick gears, etc… in a need and orderly fashion. Must have a mechanical Aptitude. Adhere to all safety rules and safe work practices at all times. Other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Standing and walking up to 8 hours per day. Frequent lifting, twisting and bending. Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs. Fine motor skills and manual dexterity. Tex-Tech is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
