Job Summary Job Summary Under the direct supervision of the Transportation Supervisor, the van driver is responsible for the safe operation and general cleanliness of a district van or vehicle over designated routes within an established time schedule; to transport students to and from school, functions or activities as required. To also assist the Mechanics, as needed with duties such as but not limited to temporarily working as a bus attendant, general cleaning of transportation vehicles, pick up and drop off parts and to do related work as required. All summer employment is contingent upon state funding and sufficient student enrollment. In the event it becomes necessary to reduce your assignment during the 2026 Summer program, salary and benefits will be prorated accordingly. This position runs from June 15, 2026, through July 14, 2026. June 19th and July 3rd are paid holidays.
