Wednesday, June 17th & Thursday, June 18th—8:30 a.m.•4:30 p.m. If you cannot attend these training days, this needs to be communicated as soon as possible.Camp Dates and Hours:
June 22nd•August 7th | Work hours: 7:30 a.m.•6:00 p.m. | Counselors work in shifts. Part-time shifts are available. | No camp on Friday, July 3rdCamp Information:
Our summer program is looking for camp counselors to join our eight weeks of themed, fun, and interactive programming! Campers range in age from 3 to 11 and are divided into four age groups: 3-4-year-olds, 5-6-year-olds, 7-9-year-olds, and 10-11-year-olds. We seek candidates who will help campers explore our amazing campus, organize games, cook with students, create crafting projects, and implement weekly themes. Candidates should be flexible, think on their feet, and have a "go with the flow" mentality.Camp Counselor Roles:
Lead Counselor (Full-time): A Lead Counselor has a high-school diploma and experience working with kids. Ideally, this candidate is also seeking a higher degree related to early childhood education. Associate Counselor (Full-time): An Associate Counselor is going into their Junior or Senior year in High School and has a passion for working with kids. Bonus if you have previous work experience with kids. Aftercare Counselor (Part-time): An Aftercare Counselor works in our aftercare summer camp program specifically from 2:30-6:00 p.m.Responsibilities:
Supervise and ensure the safety of all campers. Greet campers and assist with arrival and dismissal procedures. Serve as the leader for one cohort of campers. Assist in planning, preparing, and implementing daily activities and lessons. Maintain a healthy, fun, and structured classroom environment. Keep camp classrooms and the school playground tidy and organized. Serve as a role model for campers. Foster a fun, creative, and open-minded environment for learning, friendship, and risk-taking within your summer camp group.Successful Candidates:
Possess a Food Handlers Permit and First Aid/CPR certification, or a willingness to obtain these documents. Engage in our journey to educate ourselves and embrace issues of diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racist work. Love working with children. Have prior experience working with preschool and/or elementary school students. Desire to learn about, reflect upon, and support a dynamic learning environment. Understand how systematic and institutional barriers affect students' learning experiences and outcomes. Show sensitivity to issues of bias, racism, prejudice, and stereotyping. Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the children and program. Maintain confidential information. Communicate well with all levels of faculty and staff. Communicate well with students and their parents. Collaborate with colleagues, accept feedback, and conduct oneself professionally. Have a positive attitude and sense of humor.Compensation and Benefits:
This is an hourly position for the 2026 summer term. The hourly rate is $17.50•21 depending on position and experience.To Apply:
